The inaugural Brussels Sprout Peace Prize 2025 to 3025 has been awarded to Obelix, the most deserving bun in the entire galaxy.
The sprout was presented to Obelix in a live ceremony that was broadcast world wide, attracting the highest viewing numbers in the history of the universe. The rating were the highest ever recorded since the beginning of man, and the crowd gathered outside the awards venue was the largest crowd ever recorded, and definitely bigger than the crowd at the Nobel Awards ceremony. Which is only a little ceremony nobody watches anyway because no-one has never heard of it.
Obelix was considered the best candidate, in fact the only candidate, because he is an excellent brown noser. He mostly kisses his own arse, however, although he does like Drusilla’s to snuggle up to on a cold night.
Many congratulations to Obelix, who wasted no time on admiring his trophy, preferring to eat it instead.
